In a large bowl, add warm water, yeast and sugar and whisk to combine. Let it rest for 5 minutes .
Add olive oil, salt and flour and start combining until it forma a homogenous dough
Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until it doesn't stick any more. add flour as needed. The dough should be soft.
Lightly grease a large bowl with oil and place the dough inside. Cover with a kitchen cloth and allow the dough to rise at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Pre-heat oven to 200 C and allow to heat for 20 minutes as you prepare the dough.
Lightly grease a baking pan with oil and sprinkle cornmeal. This will give your pizza a nice crunch and flavor.
To shape the dough, place it on a lightly floured surface and stretch it out with your fingers into a rough rectangular shape and dust with flour on both sides.
Place it on the floured baking sheet and pre-bake for 15 minutes.
Remove and start spreading the fillings.
