How To Make Mutura At Home

African sausage or Mutura made by stuffing beef into a cows tripe and grilling it.

- 500 g Beef, cut into small pieces
- 3 tbsp Pure Mountain herb infused canola oil
- 1 Tripe/cow intestine
- 1 cup cow blood
- 1 cup Chopped onions
- 2 tbsp Red chilli
- 2 tbsp Minced garlic
- salt & pepper, to taste
Cook onions and garlic using the canola oil, then add red chilies. Cool completely
In a bowl add the chopped beef, cow blood, salt and pepper, cooled onion mix and combine.
Staff this mixture inside the uncooked stripe and tie on both ends.
Heat a grill and cook the mutura over medium high until it turns golden brown. brush canola oil to avoid drying.
Serve with ugali and kachumbari
