When I crave pasta, this Spicy spaghetti loaded with fresh herbs is my go to. I boil up the pasta, sauté some diced onions with garlic and thyme. Add some cherry tomatoes, chili paste and cook up the spaghetti in it. I then finish off the spaghetti with some fresh basil.
Adding the fresh thyme and basil in this spicy spaghetti recipe loaded with fresh herbs is essential in intensifying the flavors. The thyme is a good source of vitamin C and A and also helps in the digestion of fatty foods. The basil on the other hand should be added at the end as prolonged heat causes the oils to dissipate/ evaporate.
The chili is a game changer. You can add dried chilies or chili paste and tweak the amount to your liking.
