The secret to this French toast is using a high quality vanilla extract and vanilla bean paste. This is important as not all vanillas are made equal. How To Make This Decadent Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla French Toast

Start by making the dipping mixture. A good combination of milk and eggs to create the custardy mixture. use whole milk as opposed to low fat milk. We’re adding a little flour to help the mixture be a thick batter rather than a liquid.

For flavorings, we’re adding a combination of Madagascar bourbon vanilla paste and pure vanilla extract to give our French toast a rich vanilla taste. A dash of cinnamon spice will add some extra flavor.

You want to dip the slices of bread into the mixture and soak for only 20 seconds on each side to avoid soggy toasts. Be sure not to crowd them and only put enough to accommodate your bowl.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 slices Bread
  • 1 cups Whole Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Black Juice Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Paste
  • 1 tbsp Black Juice Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Vanilla Cheese Spread

  • 1/2 cup Cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Black Juice Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Black Juice Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Paste

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk eggs until fluffy. In a separate bowl, whisk flour and a little milk to form a paste.
  • Add the flour mixture into the eggs with the rest of the milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla paste, vanilla extract and salt and whisk into a homogenous mixture.
  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat with some butter.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and soak for 20 seconds on each side. As it soaks heat some butter on the pan.
  • Fry the bread for about 2 minutes on each side or until it turns lightly brown
  • Repeat all the slices until done.
  • Serve with caramelized bananas, honey and Vanilla Cream cheese

Vanilla Cheese Spread

  • Mix cream cheese with the pure vanilla extract and Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Paste until well combined.
  • Serve with the French toasts.
